Always use .png or .svg vector files that support a transparent background when possible instead of icons or logos that are merged with the background color.
Crop all icons or logos tight to the edge of the image and do not leave excessive padding in the .png or .svg files.
Prepare multiple versions to provide the best flexibility.
1. Color version including company name or and/or slogan.
2. White and black version including company name or and/or slogan.
3. Color, black, and white versions of the company logo without the name (optional)
